Challenges to Fitness and Coaching During Covid-19

    COVID-19 pandemic has halted fast-forwarding activities of the world. Everything has been confined to homes with limited physical activity. The imposition of lockdowns has paralyzed activities and public interaction. Consequently, physical fitness has been disadvantaged compromising public health. Restrictions of COVID-19 also put down coaching and sports. Physical training and interaction between players and coaches are significant to improve players performance. The sports sector affected by pandemics due to the low-level education of the players and coaches and lacking knowledge of modern training programs. Technological illiteracy has also added to the adversity, preventing players from getting effective benefits from online training programs. This study explores the challenges to coaching during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research also explores a comparison between direct coaching and online training in this regard. The research emphasizes the scope of maintaining physical fitness during pandemics. Findings of the interview conclude that Covid-19 has compromised the coaching and sports performance of athletes, and concepts like distance training remain ineffective due to the purely physical nature of the matter.

Investigating the Push and Pull Factors for Effective Football Coaching in Pakistan

    These factors contain a variety of intangible socio-psychological motivations that represent an individual's intrinsic desires and push consumers towards certain behavior patterns that are goal-driven.On the other hand, "pull" factors, which are connected to the athlete, allude to the many diverse elements of a football game. It is very necessary to have a better knowledge of the push–pull interaction for players to be able to play in a way that will fulfill the expectations of coaches who have varying demands. The qualitative method was used to gather the information from the participants. The push-and-pull coaching philosophy was found to be most closely related to the tactical and technical aspects of the game, according to the findings of the analysis. Instead of functioning as a clear guide to examine and support each coach's particular practice, coaching philosophy served instead as a signifier in power relations, which allowed it to rationalize coaching practices.

Impact of Domestic Infrastructure upon Athlete's Interest, Motivation and Participation in Sport: A Case Study of Domestic Cricket Balochistan

    Organized sports are popular around the globe as a way of entertainment for the spectators as well as a lucrative career for the athletes and sportsmen and sportswomen. However, the number of athletes in Pakistan is comparatively less. This study is carried out to establish the reasons of a smaller number of people opting for sports as career generally and cricket specially. Motivation is a force which prompts an individual to act accordingly for the achievement of set objectives. Participation in sports can be enhanced by encouraging young men and women. Motivation can be created through provision of basic facilities as well as considering other psychological factors. Impact of infrastructure, coaching facilities, remuneration and other psychological factor on the interest of cricketers is explored to suggest ways to create a conducive environment to enhance the participation of cricketers in Balochistan, Pakistan.
