Forensic Chromatography of Documentary Evidence and its Role in Solving Dark Cases to Provide Justice

The aim of writing article in hand is to critically determine whether in our legal system any attention is paid towards recovering, preserving, collecting, and covering the documentary and digital evidence and using modern techniques to analyze it sufficient to ensure its admissibility in national and international courts. This article has completed this task by conducting a purely qualitative study of case laws and critically examining 2014 international protocols documentation and investigation of sexual assault cases. The main objective of this research is four-folds. First are what standards followed internationally for this purpose. Secondly, to review case laws in which guidelines are provided for documentary physical and digital evidence? Thirdly to deeply analyze those new techniques up to what extent are followed in Pakistan. Fourthly and finally to recommend /suggest that new techniques of Forensic, namely chromatography, should broadly be used in the investigation not only in whitecollar crimes but as well as in other civil and criminal cases.

How Head Teachers Motivate: Exploring Perceptions of Teachers about Head-Teachers Motivational Techniques at Higher Education

Motivation is a key aspect of every workplace if the workforce is to function effectively and efficiently. This study explores that leadership in higher institutions of education in KPK Pakistan, looking at a typical set of 12 male and 12 female higher institutes. The aim was to offer a picture of the current situation, as perceived by principals and teachers, and to explore differences in their perceptions. The views of the Heads of the Institutions (Principals) and a sample of their teachers were gathered using a questionnaire. This suggests that there may well be two very different kinds of motivations atmospheres in the sample of colleges surveyed. Secondly, where teachers tend to respond well to a supportive, affirmative approach on the leadership, where they feel valued and good work is praised, as well as being given the freedom and trust to innovate, the Principals tend to a more authoritarian approach.

Advancing Pakistan's Criminal Investigation System: Embracing Modern Practices

This research paper is an attempt to understand and review the prevailing criminal investigation system and the criminal investigation procedures in the context of Pakistan. It also aims to analyze the modern techniques of criminal investigation being used around the globe and focus on remodeling the investigation system of Pakistan based on modern-day techniques and scientific instruments. The study employed qualitative methodology. Field research, surveys, different principles, approaches, and backgrounds used in the research were derived from assessments of law books, reports, newspapers, journals, and articles. A comparative analysis between one of the modern-day investigation systems, i.e., the United States, is drawn so that a better idea could be obtained of how the investigation system can remodel, based on modern trends and what loopholes need to be addressed. The findings provide insights that can be constructive for reforms and the growth of criminal investigation in Pakistan using modern and scientific techniques.

Malady of the Mind: Mapping Dimensions of Mental Disorder through Narratological Lens in Jonathan Rosen’s The Best Minds

This paper proffers mapping Mental Disorders by employing a narratological lens in Jonathan Rosen's The Best Minds: A Story of Friendship, Madness, and the Tragedy of Good Intentions focusing on the volatility of emotions, malady of mental disorder through the spectrum of narratology and positing conundrum to the mind. It emphasizes how the mechanism of storytelling mirrors the intricacies of mental disorders in myriad ways. The study involves interdisciplinary techniques combining the psychological theories of Marsha Linehan and Otto Kernberg with relation to literary analysis embodying narratological elements. A narratology is an imperative tool in Literature for shaping psychological representations. It analyzes how the mental disorder is intertwined into the narrative depicting the thematic undertones, structure of plot development, and shaping the identities of the characters. The research encompasses a broader discourse to bridge the gap between the psychological underpinnings of mental disorders and their literary insights.

Students Achievement Strategies, Ego Strength, Hostility and the Role of Perceived Parenting on School Environment

School environment is associated with ego strength and hostility, while perceived parenting modifies the relationship between ego strength and hostility.  School Connectedness Scale, The Strategy and Attribution Questionnaire, The Parental Bonding Inventory, Barron’s Ego Strength Scale, and The Buss-Durkee Hostility Inventory were used for assessing school environment, students' achievement strategies, perceived parenting, ego strength, and hostility. A structural equational model was administered to investigate the mediation effect of perceived parenting. The findings indicated that school environment was significantly associated with ego strength B = 0.28, p< 0.001, and hostility B = 0.34, p< 0.001. Perceived parenting mediates the relationship between ego strength B = 0.375, p< 0.001, and hostility B = 0.136, p< 0.05. Perceived parenting plays a crucial role in student achievement strategies and developing an impactful ego strength and helps reduce hostile behaviors while positive parenting modifies the association of ego strength and hostility in the school environment.

A Study of Narrative Techniques in Surah Yusuf: Semantic and Communicative Perspectives

Narrative techniques play a vital role in the process of human communication. This research analyzes the use of narrative techniques in the Holy Quran. It is highly significant for researchers/linguists to conduct research on narrative techniques in the Holy Quran. The study focuses on Surah Yusuf of the Holy Quran in this regard. Surah Yusuf is the 12th Surah of the Holy Quran. The study has used Newmark's semantic and communicative translation theory(2022)to understand the narrative techniques in the English translation of Surah Yusuf. The study is qualitative in nature. The researchers also used Malik's framework(2021). This framework proposes different narrative techniques. The Quran's storytelling techniques have influenced the Arabic language, literature, and culture for centuries and continue to inspire and guide people from all walks of life. The findings of the research will help in analyzing and understanding the narrative techniques present in other Surahs of the Holy Quran.

Case Studies of Eco-Conscious and Climate-Sensitive Designs in Neelum Valley, Azad Jammu and Kashmir

Sustainable architecture faces challenges in cold climates, where traditional houses are constructed using wood logs, and stone. These materials provide insulation but are unsustainable due to deforestation. Contemporary homes, though widespread, have low insulation, requiring more energy. This research proposes a development model employing environmentally friendly materials and techniques for enhanced thermal performance. It compares conventional, modern, and proposed houses and concludes that plastic bricks, although costly when compared to concrete, offer superior insulation and sustainability. The research recommends utilizing fiber cement boards and energy-efficient systems. It recommends the use of plastic bricks to reduce waste. Combining traditional and modern construction techniques is recommended. Institutional support for green buildings is required. The research recommends the integration of conventional knowledge with the usage of modern materials to design energy-efficient dwellings under extreme climates. Future studies may include better insulation, renewable energy, and the socioeconomic effect of sustainable architecture.
