Students Achievement Strategies, Ego Strength, Hostility and the Role of Perceived Parenting on School Environment
School environment is associated with ego strength and hostility, while perceived parenting modifies the relationship between ego strength and hostility. School Connectedness Scale, The Strategy and Attribution Questionnaire, The Parental Bonding Inventory, Barron’s Ego Strength Scale, and The Buss-Durkee Hostility Inventory were used for assessing school environment, students' achievement strategies, perceived parenting, ego strength, and hostility. A structural equational model was administered to investigate the mediation effect of perceived parenting. The findings indicated that school environment was significantly associated with ego strength B = 0.28, p< 0.001, and hostility B = 0.34, p< 0.001. Perceived parenting mediates the relationship between ego strength B = 0.375, p< 0.001, and hostility B = 0.136, p< 0.05. Perceived parenting plays a crucial role in student achievement strategies and developing an impactful ego strength and helps reduce hostile behaviors while positive parenting modifies the association of ego strength and hostility in the school environment.

A Study of Narrative Techniques in Surah Yusuf: Semantic and Communicative Perspectives
Narrative techniques play a vital role in the process of human communication. This research analyzes the use of narrative techniques in the Holy Quran. It is highly significant for researchers/linguists to conduct research on narrative techniques in the Holy Quran. The study focuses on Surah Yusuf of the Holy Quran in this regard. Surah Yusuf is the 12th Surah of the Holy Quran. The study has used Newmark's semantic and communicative translation theory(2022)to understand the narrative techniques in the English translation of Surah Yusuf. The study is qualitative in nature. The researchers also used Malik's framework(2021). This framework proposes different narrative techniques. The Quran's storytelling techniques have influenced the Arabic language, literature, and culture for centuries and continue to inspire and guide people from all walks of life. The findings of the research will help in analyzing and understanding the narrative techniques present in other Surahs of the Holy Quran.

Linguistic Accommodation in English-Medium Instruction: Investigating Adjustments by Non-Native English Speakers
This study explores how non-native English-speaking students and teachers accommodate each other linguistically in EMI classrooms. The research explores the features of these strategies, including language simplification, visual aids, code-switching, and non-verbal cues, in terms of their frequency and types to identify how they impact communication/learning.Structured questionnaires were used to collect data from 200 students and 50 teachers. The study found that both students and teachers used simplification in language and visual aids to show what was being discussed. These are also well-documented, underscoring their importance in multilingual classrooms. The Pearson correlation analysis in Table 2 suggests significant positive correlations between the use of simplification and non-verbal cues language proficiency scores, which reveals that more proficient learners can employ these strategies better. This article highlights the importance of linguistic accommodation in EMI. It offers suggestions for targeted intervention programs as well as professional development to improve successful educational outcomes through English medium instruction.

Export Market Orientation and Performance: Comparing Partner Selection Via Referrals and Direct Contact
Responsiveness activities and intelligence are two categories in which export market orientation has been classified. Even though previous studies have greatly focused on the intelligence and responsiveness of international channel partners that help these activities improve export venture performance. The study explores the advantages that are influenced by choosing international partners through direct contacts or word-of-mouth. The advantages of responsiveness activities and intelligence are also explored in this study. Data is gathered from 246 Japanese manufacturers of exporting firms. For hypotheses testing, regression analysis and post hoc analysis are used. Our findings show international channel partner chosen by word-of-mouth has a moderating effect on export-focused strategies. The study enhances the understanding of export market orientation by breaking it into two key aspects; gathering market insights, and taking actions based on those insights and giving factual proof of how these activities interact differently with partner selection.

A Multi-Modal Discourse Analysis of Meme-Marketing Strategies Used by Pakistani Brands on Instagram
This study attempts to understand meme marketing dynamics in the Pakistani online media landscape. It focuses on how Pakistani brands using memes take advantage of cultural references, wordplay, trendy template and music to engage the online user base. This study employs a qualitative design utilizing multi-modal analysis to examine 87 meme-based posts from Instagram pages of 5 Pakistani brands across 4 industries: Men’s grooming products, fragrances, ride hailing service and baking. This study is guided by theoretical frameworks such as narrative transportation theory, Shifman’s 3 meme dimensions and self-congruity theory. The findings revealed that brands used local cultural references, religious motifs, regional music and wordplay to engage their demographics. Brand logos and products were imbedded in the memes and humor styles such as self-depreciation, absurdism, sarcasm, pop-culture, visual puns and wordplay were used.
